Impact of Development

This activity aims to engage students in evaluating the impact of the Greenham Common development and its sustainability.  Students take the role of reporters and, dividing the task amongst them, research and prepare an article which explores impact and sustainability issues.

AIMS

• To develop an understanding of the issues relating to sustainability in the context of Greenham Common

• To develop an understanding of the impact on people, the environment, the economy and public perception of the development at Greenham Common

RESOURCES

The resources supporting this activity are a series of stakeholder videos, a PowerPoint summarising  the progress over the last ten years. Whilst this is a stand alone activity the shorter, planning activity provides an excellent background for this activity.
